Chris practices exclusively in civil litigation with an emphasis in the areas of professional negligence, personal injury and complex litigation including mass torts and products liability.
Before joining Wagstaff & Cartmell, Chris served a two year clerkship with the Honorable John R. O'Malley of the 16th Judicial Circuit of Missouri. He is licensed in the state and federal courts of Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
Chris received his B.A. in Political Science and History from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts where his thesis on the Spanish Civil War was awarded honors status. He received his law degree from the University of Kansas where he was presented with two CALI awards for Academic Excellence. During law school he was also able to study for a semester in London, England where he served a Barrister externship in the Inns of Court.
Chris is an active member of the American Association for Justice as well as the Missouri, Kansas and Illinois Bar Associations, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Lawyer's Association of Kansas City.
