Vanessa Gross

Vanessa Gross represents plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of individual and class action civil litigation matters. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, nursing home malpractice, and medical malpractice defense. She also represents the State of Kansas in a contract dispute between the states and the major tobacco companies relating to payments under the 1998 Master Settlement Agreement.

Vanessa grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida, cum laude, with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Vanessa then attended the Vanderbilt University Law School on a Dean's Scholarship. While at Vanderbilt, Vanessa served on the Mock Trial Board and represented clients through the Vanderbilt University Law School Domestic Violence Clinic.

Vanessa is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas as well as the United States District Court of Kansas. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
