Diane K. Watkins received her undergraduate degree in English from Kansas State University in 1997 and her law degree from the University of Kansas in 2000. Upon graduating from law school, Diane moved to Denver, Colorado, where she served for two years as Counsel to the Clerk of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Thereafter, she returned to Kansas upon accepting a position as Staff Attorney for the Kansas Court of Appeals. After one year with the court, Diane joined Wagstaff & Cartmell LLP, where she practices primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, business and commercial litigation, and insurance coverage litigation. Diane is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
