Jonathan P. Kieffer < back to attorneys Jon Kieffer is a partner at Wagstaff & Cartmell LLP. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Jon worked for the Federal Reserve System doing securities and commercial transactions work. Jon graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Kansas Law Review and was selected by the faculty as outstanding student trial advocate. He also was awarded first place in the American Judges Foundation national legal writing competition for an article addressing medical malpractice law. Jon is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas, and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Jon is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court. Jon practices primarily in the areas of professional malpractice, personal injury, products liability, business and commercial litigation and insurance coverage litigation.
