Thomas L. Wagstaff < back to attorneys Tom Wagstaff is a partner of Wagstaff & Cartmell, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He then attended the University of Kansas School of Law where he received his law degree. He has practiced at Wagstaff & Cartmell LLP since graduation. Tom is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas, and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri, and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Tom is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association where he sits on the nursing home sub-committee, the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, and the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court. Tom is also active in the community as a board member of St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. He practices primarily in the areas of professional malpractice, nursing home malpractice, medical malpractice, products liability, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation.
