Thomas Preuss < back to attorneys Thomas J. "T.J." Preuss graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1996. He then moved to Kansas City and attained his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in 2000, cum lade, with degrees in Biology and Political Science. T.J. received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003. While in law school, T.J. served on The Urban Lawyer, and he served as a teaching assistant to the school's research & writing program. After receiving his law degree, T.J. joined Wagstaff & Cartmell LLP where he practices primarily in the areas of professional malpractice, products liability including complex litigation such as mass torts, personal injury and commercial litigation. T.J. is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Kansas. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Kansas Trial Lawyer's Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. T.J. is married to Molly and has a daughter, Taylor. He is active in the community, previously working with Big Brothers Big Sisters and American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and currently working with Ozanam Home for Boys and Crittenton Children's Center.
